Salish Soils

Salish Soils on the BC’s Sunshine Coast is a First Nation’s owned and operated facility, that processes wood, fish and other organic wastes into valuable soil amendment products. To minimize odours, and for more practical and efficient all-season receiving, composting and curing, BuildWorks constructed this large 20,000 sq. ft.

megadome®. To ensure long term performance under corrosive conditions, the MegaDome® frame components are factory hot-dip galvanized. A custom suspended interior gable achieves air-space segregation to complement the air-exchange and processing in a biofilter.
