Denbow, an innovative company specializing in the processing, delivery, and installation of forest residuals, sought a new distribution center in the Fraser Valley. They aimed to efficiently distribute agricultural-soil products such as organic green waste compost, ground cover chips, erosion and sediment control products, and animal bedding sawdust & shavings. Key requirements included large bulk storage capacity and easy access for their massive front-end-loaders to a diverse range of products. BuildWorks aptly fulfilled Denbow’s requirements by designing and constructing two distinct MegaDome® structures with a combined ¾-acre

footprint. Noteworthy features include a unique side-open design offering approximately 500 feet of direct access to Denbow’s diverse products, constructed atop 10-foot-high concrete block walls. These structures boast galvanized steel frameworks, with 15-year translucent roof membranes for natural daylighting. Additionally, a 240-foot-long, 2-hour firewall was erected adjacent to the property line to meet Building Code requirements. The buildings are complemented by over 3 acres of asphalt paving for efficient operations.
